School Workshops

MooncreatureimageI have extensive experience working with different schools to develop unique creative projects to complement themes studied or as activities during Art Weeks.

I am able to devise and deliver workshops to suit your own topics and can work with an individual class, whole year groups or your whole school.

Workshops can be tailored to use a variety of medium from printmaking, drawing and painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, papier-mache.

Moon Creature Mosaic Project – Early Years Project working with 2 – 4 year olds

An outdoor mosaic was designed and created by a nursery group. The terms topic was “Space” so students created their own moon creature surrounded by three stars for their playground wall. To see further information about the project please click on the blue link below

Paper Bag Fish Project 
Early Years Project with 2 – 3 year olds
I devised a short afternoon workshop for a local nursery.  Working with the topic of underwater we  created our own sea creatures out of paper.
We looked in detail at all the different colours and patterns that can be found in fish and they explored different textures and surfaces through printmaking. Their printed bags were then stuffed with newspaper and made into a variety of underwater creatures – adding eyes and paper legs for octopus. Paper stones and paper reeds were also made to complete our underwater scene.
